How To Consign

Ready to clean out your closet? Gather your gently-used items and bring them in during any business hours - no appointment necessary! Our step-by-step guide will walk you through the consignment process:

Clean Your Closet

Sort through your in-season clothing, shoes, accessories, and housewares. Please pay attention to the condition of the item - no holes, stains, odors, broken zippers, or excessive wear! For more information about what we accept when, please check out our intake guide.

What Sells

At Labels, we only accept items that are cute, current, clean, and in season. We take items based on what our customers are buying. If we cannot take an item, please don’t take it personally! We study what sells and select items that will make you money. You can choose to take your items back or donate them to one of our nonprofit partners. If you have any concerns about any items, please choose the take back option.

Item Limit

Drop-offs are welcome during all business hours, however, we do have item limits:

• 25 items of clothing, purses, and shoes

• Unlimited jewelry

• 10 home decor items

• Unlimited beauty

The above limits are per store, per day. We ask that you do not bring items in on hangers.

Pricing

Labels determines the selling price. Our tagging associates spend a lot of time researching the market and what our customers will pay. This includes the style, size, season and current trends. With that in mind, our items are priced 50% to 80% off of the original price. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask about pricing! If you have any pricing concerns, please write a note on the sign-in sheet.

Get Paid

You receive 40% of the selling price. Once an item is sold, your earnings will automatically go onto your account. You can choose to get paid out with cash or use the money as store credit - same amount either way! Balances under $100 can be paid in cash and balances over $100 will be paid in the form of a check. Any money that remains in accounts for more than a year will automatically be turned into a gift certificate. Please review the consignment contract for more information and email us to inquire if you have a gift certificate to pick up!

Seasonality

We follow this seasonal schedule:

• Fall: August 1 to September 30

• Winter: October 1 to January 31

• Spring: February 1 to April 30

• Summer: May 1 to July 31
